I have tried to install CentraSite Community Edition (SoftwareAGInstaller951_136.exe) on my windows 7 64 bit machine, however I keep running into errors.
STP: ExecuteInstallUnits.error Could not execute install units for profile CTP of product Runtime. Reason: tried to access field com.softwareag.install.osgi.profiles.DefaultInstallUnit.profile from class com.softwareag.wss.install.WSSOSGiInstallUnit
I have attached the install log files. Any suggestions? installLog.zip (47.2 KB)
sorry to hear that you have installation problems with the 9.5.1 build on Windows 9.5. I checked it out myself and there seems to be a problem with the Win64 build. Sorry about that. We will replace it with a corrected image in the next days.
I would like to confirm that we have tried installing both 32 and 64 bit versions on the respective windows 7 OSes and have faced the same set of issues.
Can you confirm whether the downloadable image has been replaced with the correct one or not? I am looking at this product for evaluation for one of my customers.
The latest version works… (I had an additional issue because my virus scanner was blocking the creation of a windows service) but we resolved that as well. Thank you for your help.
I’m getting authorization errors when trying to download the Wndows 64-bits. If I try the windows 32-bits it works allright. I used the link that SAG sent me via mail (http://mkto-lon020189.com/…) There is something wrong with this ?
I am getting the same error on 64 bit The 32 bit version gets downloaded fine. However the 32 bit version is the giving the original installation error.
Navin, were you able to download the 64 bit version and get it working?
thanks for the feedback, I tried myself and get the same permissions denied error for the Windows 64bit version. I asked the download team to double-check and correct it. Please use one of the other builds in the meantime if possible.
Tried 32 it windows install today and getting errors. Pls refer to attachment.
Can anyone confirm if the latest build is working for 32 bit?

you are trying to install CentraSite on an unsupported OS. In the log it is written right above the APP_ERR:

Which OS are you using? We support: w2008, win7_pro, w2012, win8
The new image worked fine albeit one issue. Its forcing for SOA Active license for Business User Interface. I was looking out for CentraSite Administration Module (which was part of 8.2 release) to manage the DB, users, backups etc. I think this module was “System Management Hub”.
Can you pls let me know if the image/ installer was right?
Hi Abhi,
yes, Business UI requires an ActiveSOA license and the admin tool is gone, you need to work with the command line tools, please consult the documentation for that.
Regards,
Gerald
Has the 32 bit image on the server corrected? I think it has been removed from the ftp link that you had mentioned in your earlier post. Things are becoming critical for us and this unavailability of software is not setting a good impression to the customer.
Is there any alternate way by which we can get correct image of the 32 bit product.
