I had to change the IP address and hostname of my Linux box and now a newly created database refuses to start with message INODSE5271 “Failed to create XTS directory service entries: XTS1065E: TCP/IP No route to host”
I suspect the old address or hostname is buried somewhere within XTS’s guts - what do I have to do to get everything up and running again?
XTS uses the host name “SAGXTSDShost”. I suspect that in /etc/hosts the entry for SAGXTSDShost is pointing to the old IP address.
Incidently changing hostname/ip address will also affect SMH as well. Is this also causing problems?
Hope this helps.

I’m blind. Stupid and blind. I grepped the REGFILE, hunted for configuration files and forgot about the old SAGXTSDShost. Up and running. Thanks a lot, Stuart! SMH was running like a charm all the time, BTW.
