my system properties :
- Windows 2000 Prof, SP3, English
- I am the Administrator
- Apache 2.0.43
- Tamino 3.1.1.4 (test version)
- Services regarding Tamino (all these services are running)
1. Software AG XTS DirectoryServer
2. Software AG MILayer Service
3. Software AG EventLayer Service
4. Software AG CSLayer Service
- C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\host
I have tried the following lines:
1. 192.168.0.2 SAGXTSDShost
2. 127.0.0.1 localhost SAGXTSDShost
3. 49.187.0.0 sagxtsdsport
4. 2. & 3. at the sam time
My Problem :
I can not start the DB “welcome3_1_1_4”
Terminated with errors INODSF1436 2003-05-20 22:24:36
Start of database ‘welcome3_1_1_4’ failed INOAAE0474 2003-05-20 22:24:37
Can anyone help me ?

could you please create a new DB and test it ?
perhaps welcome3_1_1_4 is corrupted !

no, the test db wasn’t corrupted.
the “hosts” file was not configured correct
friend of mine, who was succesfull with the installation
send me this file, I just replaced it …
it works, I can start the db now
fine …
is this possible that you can COPY / PASTE this hosts file here in this request, what you solved this problem with it ?
