The October 2018 releases of Software AG products will include the Azul Zulu JDK 8. The switch from Oracle Java runtime to Zulu was made after taking into consideration that public updates for Oracle Java SE 8 will end by January 2019 and that there are no major technical differences between the Oracle JDK and Azul Zulu JDK.

Starting with our October release in 2018 and all future releases, we will be supporting our products with Azul Zulu JDK. For 9.12 and 10.1 versions, we plan to support them with Azul Zulu JDK 8 by early 2019.
