Protecting COMPOPT

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to protect (not change any value) any parameter from COMPOPT, such as, V42COMP? (I dont want to protect the command COMPOPT using NSC, however, if there is no way to protect COMPOPT, how can I do it without NSC? Is there a way?

It is possible to disallow the command COMPOPT with NSC. Up to now it is not possible to disable single COMPOPT parameter/options (without or with NSC).
