Hello,
can anyone give me an advice how to display an umlaut (sorry, I don’t know this word in english…) in the title of a popup?
If I use the following code, the title of the popup is with firefox “Oberfl#228;che”
setPopupTitle("Oberfläche");
openPopup("abc.html");

You can try it with every page and every adapter you want. Just use the “setPopupTitle” method…
In IE, it works if you are working in a ms environment (e.g. server = host = win xp); but if the server runs under unix, the result is the same.

I made a small test, and you are right. To avoid this, I configured my tomcat (in the file) like:
