Advice for displaying umlaut in the title of a popup?

Hello,

can anyone give me an advice how to display an umlaut (sorry, I don’t know this word in english…) in the title of a popup?

If I use the following code, the title of the popup is with firefox “Oberfl#228;che”


setPopupTitle("Oberfl&#38;#228;che");
openPopup("abc.html");

Have you tried it in IE and did it work?

You can try it with every page and every adapter you want. Just use the “setPopupTitle” method…

In IE, it works if you are working in a ms environment (e.g. server = host = win xp); but if the server runs under unix, the result is the same.

I made a small test, and you are right. To avoid this, I configured my tomcat (in the file) like:

<Connector port="8080" .... URIEncoding="UTF-8"/>
