Using Ansible to install SAG products

We are currently starting to migrate an Adabas/Natural installation from VSE to Linux

We are planning to install on a VMWare platform and we probably need around 7 different installations.
We are looking into installing the required software by automation e.g. by using Ansible.

I know that we can use cloning to multiply our installations, but we would like to avoid that.

Do any of you know if it is feasible to install using Ansible and Console mode - or is it a dead end.

Hello,

Yes, the SAG installer is scriptable and so you can use Ansible. We also use Software AG internally Ansible for such purposes. Using it with Ansible makes sense and is certainly not a mistake.
