I would like to know how can I install a new version of Adabas on a Unix server on which is running an Adabas old version. What kind of problem could we have?. If it is possible, How can I do it?

Can you elaborate on what version you are coming from and what one you plan to move to?
Each version of Adabas comes out with the Release Notes that indicate migration / conversion steps required from the prior version and sometimes the -1 version of Adabas. If you are moving several major versions of Adabas, it may be necessary to step through some interim versions.

The specific questions is: Does two different versions of Adabas can coexist simultaneously?. I would not like impact too much the production environment to the users?.
