Transaction volume

Looking for some actual real life experiences using webMethods for RNIF 2.0 based transaction when the volume is huge. i.e. maximum transaction or volume that was successfully pushed through, especially for pips that requires 2-action activity.

I’ve know of 30K transactions per month going through without problems. This works out to 1K per month or a minute.

I’m interested to know if there is someone who has managed more, around the region of 1million per month or more which works out to about:

  • 30,000 Transactions per day
  • 1,000 Transactions per hr.
  • 23 Transactions per min.

Keen to learn from actual experiences.

Hi
The transaction volume expected when our product goes live is about 3 -5 million per day.
From the architecture of the application, the only factor I see is excellent load balancing and clustering.
Will let you know whether or not the app will scale to that level,once the product goes live
