Hi
I’d like to install Tamino on a Powerbook for demo purposes.
Since it won’t run natively, I’ll need to run it in an emulator.
Has anyone succeeded with this? i don’t anticipate any issues, but i’d like to know it works before buying the hardware.
thanks
Jason
Hi,
This is what I did on a 867 Powerbook
with 768 MB RAM and VPC 6.0 The Installation of Tamino
takes ages (at least 3 hours if not even more)
The Tamino Manager isn’t very responsive but you can
work with it, and it should be sufficient for demonstration
purposes. I haven’t checked the performance of the
database in terms of data storage and retrieval but
I wouldn’t expect too much.
