Sreekanth,

I need few more details from you to analyse the issue.

wM version and IS, MWS fix levels?
DB used?
Central User Management Configuration - Configured?
MWS SAML Resolver URL from Settings > Resources
Setting from http://localhost:5555/WmMonitor/
CentralUsersPool configured and tested OK?

  • MWS logs and Error logs

Hi Mahesh,

Please find the details below.

IS Version : 9.5.1.0
MWS version: 9.5.1.0.93

Fixes: IS_9.5_SP1_Portal_Fix3
BR_9.5_SP1_Portal_Fix1
MON_9.5_SP1_MWS_Fix4
MWS_9.5_SP1_Fix11
PT_9.5_SP1_Fix3
MWS_9.5_SP1_Fix11
OPT_9.5_SP1_Fix3

CentraUser Management Configuration - Configured, and everything else is configured and working fine till yesterday.

Not sure what has happened, all of sudden server got shut-down and when we try to start we are getting above error in the logs.

Regards,
Sreekanth

Looks like the instance got corrupted.

Can you try to run update instance and init instance commands to see if the server starts.

Or else create the new instance and start the server but the pitfall with this is all your customization and configuration in MWS might be lost.

If its a new installation set-up I would suggest you to delete the existing instance(default) and create a new instance. For more details refer MWS Administration Guide.

Let me know if you face any issues.

Hi,

Server seems to be up and running at the backend( I can see process instance “ps -aef|grep MWS”) but unable to see login page(http://host:port).

Raised ticket with SAG and they suggested to increase MWS log level, not sure how to increase log level from the backend configurations.

Please suggest.

Regards,
Sreekanth

Great, then this will be resolved soon… You can share us the resolution steps shared by SAG

Can you try if you are able to login MWS as SysAdmin?

Hi Mahesh,

server is up but seems to be an issue with login page as we are not able to see the page(This webpage is not available).

we are still investigating this, please let us know if you have seen any such issue before.

Regards,
Sreekanth

Nope. I do not have any other resolutions as suggested in this thread. I will keep you updated if I find anything.

I have similar issue with MWS 9.12.

I’m able to bring up the server through commands, but when I modify -

wrapper.conf &&
custom_wrapper.conf files, so as to create a windows service for MWS, the startup fails with this message.

2017-01-09 10:51:12 MST (Framework:FATAL) [MWS Startup-1] - [POP.005.0006] This server node is not defined in the MWS cluster configuration: “default”
com.webMethods.portal.PortalException: [POP.005.0006] This server node is not defined in the MWS cluster configuration: “default”

I did check that there is no other instance. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

Any new useful message in _full.log or wrapper.log?
