Mechanism to link related/ duplicate topics

Hi Team,
Would like to know if there is any way to link two topics which are very closely related/ duplicates .
This would help in finding solutions faster.

  1. There are cases where two issues could be closely related and therefore the poster would benefit from following the linked topic also since they could find the answer there.
    Example:
Missing Packages after installation of IS, MWS, Active transfer on 10.7 - Forum - webMethods - Software AG Tech Community & Forums and Webmethod 10.7 installation error - Forum - webMethods - Software AG Tech Community & Forums seem to be having the same root cause.
  2. There could be cases where some topics are duplicates of each other and have different participants , getting to the solution takes longer.
    Example:
IS installation error (10.7) - Forum - webMethods - Software AG Tech Community & Forums and Webmethod 10.7 installation error - Forum - webMethods - Software AG Tech Community & Forums

Hi Nagendra,

  1. The solution I see here is when you are replying to a topic, you can include a link to another which you think describes the same problem. Under the first post of the second topic will appear a link for the current one.
For example in your post you mentioned the topic Missing Packages after installation of IS, MWS, Active transfer on 10.7, now link for this topic is shown here:

  2. For duplicate topics the solution is merging them into one. For the topics you mentioned we already did that - the topics are merged into one Webmethods 10.7 installation error and the other is closed.

Hope that helps.

Thank you! It helps.
