License vs installer

Hi,

I am interested if SAG installer verify license and based on it shows product, that can be installed on license?

For example if installer shows webMethods 9.12 that this means we can install it (our license allows it)?

Hi Robert,

Installer will show you only those parts you are licensed for (based on what is assigned to your Empower account).

You can check this in Empower in the “Download Products” → “Software Download Center” section, where you can download the Installer.

Thanks for your reply. I would like also ask, if “Local Service Development” requires seperate license for installing Integration locally? I mean it is possible to install IS locally on this option regardless of license?

Hi Robert,

as far as I know Local Service Development only provides the neccessary parts to use IS inside Designer for Development and Testing of services.
It wont allow to run a dedicated IS which will require either an IS or a TN license (the second type is needed when using TradingNetworks/B2B Integration).
