Is there any way to reduce the volume occupied by data at TA

According to my tests, I have realized that TAMINO does not compress the data inside. Is there any way to reduce the volume occupied by data at TAMINO ?
Example:
An XML file containing 550000 records has 1829MB on hard disk. After uploading this file to TAMINO, Tamino manager shows
DATA SPACE OCCUPIED:1,59GB
INDEX SPACE OCCUPIED:38,97
More or less the size on file system and the size at TAMINO is same. What should I do to hold data at TAMINO in compressed form?

Hi Goksel,
What Tamino version are you using? Tamino 2.3.x compress until 80% including indexes.

Guillermo

Tamino will do the compression itself. You could not control it.
