Hi,
Sometimes when we try to regenerate a IS service basically the progress bar dialog opens but it freezes the complete designer and I have to kill the designer process.
Anyone know how to overcome the problem?

I’m not exactly sure what is going wrong, but you might check the Designer (Eclipse) logs. They are located at: $workspacehome.metadata.log
They might provide some clue about what is locking up the operation.
