Is it an undocumented or intended feature?

Can anyone tell me if the ability to copy a module from inside the Natural Studio environment then switch to Windows Explorer and paste the module is an intended function of Studio?

Currently this works and is a great “feature”, both source and object are copied (if they both existed in Studio) to the Windows folder. The opposite also works, copying from the Windows folder into a Studio library (like the SYSMAIN IMPORT function?).

Thanks,
Chad.

This is definitely an intended feature!

Hi Benedict, good to hear from you again!

OK, thanks! Now can you tell me if it uses the SYSMAIN IMPORT behind the scenes? Or does it the same as when source is copied between two Natural libraries?

The reason I’m asking has to do with NSC, I’m wondering which setting of the SYSMAIN utility profile would (or should) allow/prevent this.

Thanks,
Chad.

Chad, it’s a pleasure for me, too. Now, as far as I know this is done using SYSMAIN functionality.
