Installing the ODBC Adapter

I am about to install the ODBC 4.1.1 adapter on a machine that only currently houses the File IO Adapter 4.2 version. Does anybody see any risks in doing this? I’m really trying to find out if intalling a 4.1.1 adapter after a 4.2 adapter has already been installed will cause any issues. This is a production machine so any information would be helpful.

You will have to reinstall ADK 4.2.

Maybe you should validate that on a test platform, with a small integration using the File IO Adapter 4.2.
