How to use pubclientftp

Hi,Dear All
I use pub.client:ftp in webMethods 6.1 to upload a .xls file to my ftp server, the size is 8K.The transfermode is binary. The username & password are all correct, and the server has enough free space.But it says “450 Transfer aborted. Link to server lot.”(The error msg is attached as a picture.), in fact, the .xls file is already uploaded to the server, but the size only is 2.4K. But I use CuteFTP to upload the file, nothing is wrong. what’s the matter? Could you please give me you advice?

May be its a network issue when you ftp service from webMethods IS hosted box to your remote ftp location.

try to use cmd ftp from the IS installed box and see what i says…

Thanks for your advice. It can upload the .xls file generated by MS Excel, but when upload the .xls file generated by HSSF, I get above error. I think the root cause is the encoding. Could you please list all encoding? I want to try one by one. Thanks.

Are you using ascii or binary transfer…also try changing mode active or passive,encoding =ISO-8856.
