How portal fetch the data from wmtables

Can anyone please explain me that how portal fetch the data from wmtables (talk to DB).

WM uses JDBC Pool aliases to connect to back end databases. You can see the same through Settings->JDBC Pools->Pool Alias Definitions.

The WM tables are internal canonical which you cannot understand directly and if i were you i wouldn’t mess with those tables.
