And what is diff between 997 and an MDN or both are same. I see it takes millisecs to generate MDN.

997 and MDN both are different… (MDN indicates that just for EDIINT AS2 request received to the party not a functional ack like 997 for transaction set)

Please don’t get confused wiht both FA / EDIINT MDN process here
