Maybe this will help:
check your hosts file, for mine (W2K prof) it is located at
C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

See whether you have the following entries:
# Software-AG–Tamino----
127.0.0.1 SAGXTSDShost
49.187.0.0 SAGXTSDSport

SAGXTSDShost should refer to your IP address. To keep it simple, you can use the above entries, provided that you install Tamino on your local machine.
Hope this help.

# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a ‘#’ symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

# Software-AG–Tamino----

192.168.202.238 localhost
49.187.0.0 SAGXTSDSport

:frowning:

From your host file, the entry for SAGXTSDShost is missing, thus:

127.0.0.1 SAGXTSDShost

Could u check that?

I would also check to see if there is a service called “Software AG XTS DirectoryServer” and this is started.
