Cannot update ApplinX session description outside the gx_onInit method

change the session description after the session was initialized

Do you get any error messages? Please provide a full error message screenshot and log file.

the description does not change, no error appears, and it seem that the description can not be changed after the session is initialized.

This is

an implementation problem, because the ApplinX session is established via the certificate when connecting to CICS via the IBM TN3270E telnet protocol before logging into CICS, and therefore the audit information that is available only after having logged into CICS cannot be used in the ApplinX Administrator (session description field)

Looking for the ways to update the session after it’ initialization.

Have you installed all the latest fixes for the products and systems you are using?

Current fix is 909, do not think the fixes are curtail in this case

I’m not sure if this can be changed or updated after the logon to CICS.
What are you trying to add to the description? is it just for information purpose?
