Cannot add microservice with Free Trial

What product/components do you use and which version/fix level?

Cumulocity IoT (UI version 1013.0.167)

Are you using a free trial or a product with a customer license?

Free trial

What are trying to achieve? Please describe in detail.

I am trying to open the prompt in Administration > Ecosystem > Microservices to add the zipped docker image and manifest.

Do you get any error messages? Please provide a full error message screenshot and log file.

According to the tutorials there should be an “Add microservice” button here. But there isn’t one.

Could it be that accounts with a Free Trial cannot add microservices? If so would you point me to the list of limitations for Free Trials? I was not able to find one.

The microservice add-on is required for this feature. You can see this listed in the “add-on technology” section of our plans and pricing page: Cumulocity IoT (softwareag.cloud).

Yes, microservice hosting is not included in Free trials.
Trial is provisioned same as a Basic tenanat, but for Basic you have the option of subscribing microservice hosting at a cost.
