ApplinX 105 on CentOS just dies after "Failed to load Socket Handler. Disconnecting client.."

Good day,

ApplinX 105 is installed on CentOS Linux release 7.7.1908 (Core) with the Web license, all settings are default.

It starts up and works fine, but after left alone just dies with this records in the log:
…GXSocketHandler] ERROR > Failed to load Socket Handler. Disconnecting client… java.io.EOFException
Java class is: com.sabratec.applinx.server.acceptors.GXSocketHandler

strace of the terminated ApplinX server process just showed that the process got detached.

Increasing the Java heap max memory from 1 GB to 8 GB extends the ApplinX server life significantly, but the terminations still occur.

Currently this installation is supported by the monitor that restarts ApplinX server when it is terminated.

Never had such issues before.

Will look forward to the advise.

Regards

Leonard

Hi Leonard,

I think this should be handled through the regular support channels, please open a ticket with all relevant information and a full set of server logs, and also try to get a java crash dump file or any indications that might be in the event viewer.

With the additional information we might be able to know more on what exactly happened.

Regards,

Gadi
