I downloaded and installed ADABAS 6.1.8.
When I tried to start DB I have message

What should I do?
My computer is
Precision T5400 Intel Xeon CPU E5440

I am thinking that the 4 CPUs on your machine exceed the license restrictions on the Community Edition.
You may wish to resolve this by discussing with your sales rep a trial for the Enterprise Edition which will allow this configuration.
Same problem even now (though now 4 CPUs is allowed, but somehow my intel i7 counts as 8 CPUs).

Also, we need the Natural installer for windows updated to include windows 8, so we dont have to run in compatibility mode.
