I am using the pub.client.ftp:mput service for ftping the files to our trading partners Ftp directory.
When I am FTPing 3 files each of arounf 800KB size i am getting following error.
425 Can’t build data connection: Connection timed out.
I have set the transfertype to “active”
and transfermode to “ascii”
When I FTP above files manullay using telent they are getting transferred.
Can you please let me know what could be the reason of failure.

try using pub.client.ftp:put and transfer one file at a time.

Hello,
We are still having the issue while ding the FTP using pub.client.ftp:mput .
Is this something related to the load on the server. Because this occurs 1-2 times in a week. And when I run the same service next day morning it ftps the files with out error.
Can any one let me know the resolution.
