Any experiences out there with performance improvements based on Adabas 825 and zHPF?
Software AG has tested ZHPF at IBM Poughkeepsie running benchmarks with and without support for ZHPF.
The effect was measurable but small.
However, we were alone on the machine and could control the environment running the same workload repeatedly with the database restored at the beginning of each test in an identical condition.
It is unlikely that you could measure the effect of ZHPF reliably when this is not the case.
