I’m at the point of upgrading our Natural (on Unix) environments from version 6.2.3 to 6.3.7.
In the release notes I can’t find anything regarding ‘downwards compatibility’. Perhaps I didn’t search well enough … or it is not specified.
The question raised by the developers is whether or not after the upgrade their modified objects on DEV (will be 6.3 objects by then) will work on TEST and PROD (which are still 6.2 environments).
Ofcourse with the assumptions that no 6.3 specific functions are used. Only standard code changes and a recompile of the object.
Anyone any idea or experience with this?
