Where I can download webMethods 10.7?

Product/components used and version/fix level:

Our existing packages are build upon webMethod 10.7. We wanted to configure one standalone system with 10.7 version IS but we didn’t find any URL to download the same.

The above redirecting to 10.15 but we need 10.7. Kindly help us to download so that we can set up. We do have a license.

Kindly guide us where we can download 10.7

Question related to a free trial, or to a production (customer) instance?

If you have a commercial license for wM 10.7, I guess you can directly join your contact person at SoftwareAG.
IMHO they don’t keep older versions for free trial to download.

Also, normally your existing packages built under wM 10.7 should work on 10.15. Have you tried for one package ?

Hi,

did you check on Empower if you can download the proper InstallManager from there?
Eventually you have to download a newer InstallManager and provide the download URL manually.
Contact your Sales contact at SAG and/or open an incident with SAG Support. The second approach will only work if you have an Extended Maintenance Agreement active.

Upgrading to at least 10.15 is recommended.

Holger

You seem to have a customer/commercial licence, so you can use the Software AG Installer (latest version on Empower will work) to download the products.

Since 10.7 is still under standard support (though standard maintenance ended in April 2024), you should see the 10.7 repository. If you don’t see 10.7 when you use the latest installer, use your original/older installer or contact Software AG Support to access the repository.

You need Empower credentials associated with your customer number.

Upgrade - As Holger says, an upgrade to 10.15 is recommended since 10.7 is out of standard maintenance. If you have extended maintenance, it is good to start the upgrade conversation now while you still have support.

Caveat - Though your 10.7 packages may/will work on 10.15, it’s not recommended to use them in that way to avoid unpredictable issues.

This seems odd – of all the tools I’ve been exposed to, Integration Server has been one of the best at not breaking things from version to version. What exactly is prompting the “need” for 10.7 that cannot be fulfilled by 10.15? Perhaps with that info the community can suggest additional items for consideration…

Not sure what you are referring to as redirect. Installer has the option to download all 10.X and you can also download as package. Are you on cloud or on-prem? A lot of things are contradicting in your statement. Are you looking for 10.7 containers or something? Sounds like you are unfamiliar with softwareag installation process. All you need to download an image is a download enabled empower account. You need to download the installer from empower, using that account. Latest version of the installer can download image for version 10.3 and above. For versions below 10.3 you need a different(older version) installer.

Be careful while adding a new node to a cluster. Installer can install fixes right now and it usually assumes you want to install the latest fixes. Make sure you read those pre and post fix installation steps and apply them accordingly and make sure all your environments have the same fix level!

I am interested by the Caveat part. can you give more details on how to do it properly without having unpredictable issues.

Hi,

you should read the Readmes and ReleaseNotes for every version between 10.7 and 10.15 carefully for any deprecations, modifications etc.
After that check your packages accordingly and modify the code if neccessary.

Additionally check out for the Upgrade Guide. This should have more informations regarding the upgrade to wM 10.15.

Holger

I had compiled some info here (link) - the links referenced there may be outdated but the tools and principles remain applicable.

If you have specific questions, do pose them.
