What are trying to achieve? Please describe in detail.

how can i present data from another system on cumulocity Iot .
ex: system that already tracking car movement , can i show on the cockpit in MAP widget the cars and change the pin color when a car exceeded a speed limit or out of a geofence .

Do you get any error messages? Please provide a full error message screenshot and log file.

how do you store the information about car movement?

The DeviceManagement application provides the tracking feature for devices: Device Management - Cumulocity IoT Guides. You can use this to show the movement of the car. It’s only available in the DeviceManagement application and doesn’t cover your custom requirements.

Your custom requirements would require a custom widget. You could have a look at this open source widget: GitHub - SoftwareAG/cumulocity-tracking-replay-map-widget: The Tracking Replay Map widget help you to track and replay device location on map. Runtime installation is available. Created by Global Presales. and customize it to your needs.
