Using csciframe.setPropertyValue(...)

Hi there,
I integrated a normal html page into CAI.
This html page contains some java script.
I use:
parent.csciframe.setPropertyValue(‘text’, getText());
to send some data to the Adapter.
This data is “html” Code.
The bad thing is when I send this data:

line1

line2

I receive the following Exception:

java.lang.Error: Coud not interpret stream: m2032003405060000005CASA51_119696046142111969604613747769433623832313023ch.css.demo.adapter.PineditAdapterdummyhttp://localhost:51000/OAPGui/vertrag_oap_guii_clt/new1.htmlfalsep0400025text<p>line1</p>

Is there a way to tell CAI not to parse the text sent.
Using encodeURI(getText()) works but is cumbersome.

Thanks for your time.

Hi Matthias,

One question: What functionality would you like to program via the JavaScript? Maybe you can use some more convenient higher level support of Composer/Designer. For instance:

You could have a subpage control and then use the dynamic page API to render your html dynamically in this subpage.

If it is just about passing a string, which contains html for further processing, you can easily set the corresponding value in your Adapter code like this:

data.setMyhtmlValue("<p>xyz<p>")

If you would like to integrate freestyle html at design time: The xcidemos2 contains a sample for this.

Best Regards,
Christine
