Upgrading to NBS 5.3.1

As Mark Barnard pointed out, 5.3.1 will be available at the end of 2008. Would it be possible to migrate from 5.1.1 directly to 5.3.1?

Are there any compatibility issues upgrading from Construct 5.1.1 directly to NBS 5.3.1?
