This version of Designer is not compatible with the server

When trying to connect to remote integration server, I am getting a error “This version of Designer is not compatible with the server”.

Can anyone please help to resolve this urgently?

Hi - In ‘Service Designer’ which is available for free download, the server connection is restricted to capabilities for use with the bundled runtime only, this is as designed and documented.

I would recommend using licensed installation if you want remote development.

Hi,

you need to have access to Empower.softwareag.com to download the Installer and then download an Image for installing the Designer with its dependency.

Get in contact with your License Owner and your SAG Sales contact to get your account assigned the proper download rights.
