The daily repetitive task

Hi,

In our development environment we have to shutdown and startup all webMethods components every morning (OPT, AE, PE, MWS); because we shutdown during the night the webMethods database for backup purposes.

Of course we are going to do backup also in our production environment, I was wondering:

How people are managing this repetitive task?

This is a database problem more than a webMethods problem. It’s common these days for enterprise databases to be highly available. I don’t believe MWS can remain up without its database. However, IS can.
