SQL Catalog log in error

Hello,

I am trying to log into the SQL Catalog with
the user name / password: DBA/dba. This causes
the following error message:

“8203(E): You have not a valid license or your
license has expired for this component; 8600
(E): internal error in SQL enginelnk with
internal code -35 SAGCONM(1)”

Can anyone tell what is wrong?

Greetings,
Tomek.

PS. logging as system administrator doesn’t
work either (the same error message)

I strongly suspect that you do not have a licence for the SQL engine portion of Tamino.

The licence file (in XML form) is normally copied during installation to :-

c:\Program Files\Common Files\Software AG\LKey\ino231.xml (or ino221.xml if v2.2.1 of Tamino)

You can look at the licence file but you cannot edit it. There is a licenced component called “TaminoSQL” in this licence file and this should have a value “yes” or “no” and I suspect this is the latter.

(You can also view the licence file from the Tamino Manager as well).

If this is the case and you require the SQL feature then please contact your local Software AG.

I’ve got exactly the same problem. And I made sure that I have a valid license.
