I’m sorry if this is a bit cryptc, but we’re having problems getting our webMethods test system running on our SUn box that is also running Netcape server. We have two separate ips on this one box. The Netscape server is listening on ports 443 and 444 on ip #1. I logged on to the unix box under ip #2 which has those ports free. However, when I try to set up the https listener in webMethods, I keep getting a “address already in use” error. Obviously, it sees the ports as being used by Netscape. The reason this is driving me so crazy is because we have the EXACT same setup on another box for production and it’s working fine. Unfortunately, the guy that installed and configured it is no longer with the company.
So, my question is how can I force the webMethods IS to use ip #2 and the ports associated with it? Or, is there some sort of DNS change I need to make. If anyone can point me in the right direction or needs more information from me, PLEASE feel free to email me or post it here.
THANKS!!
