Send mail in CAF

Hi,

I have a need of sending notifications or e-mails to administrators when an exception occur inside my CAF-application (java code). Is there a library available inside caf to reuse the smtp-settings configured on the server and send mail to a predefined user?

I am not interested in invoking the send mail service hosted on the IS server.

From one of our experts:

CAF has provided an Email Deliverer provider that you can use to send email. It is exposed as an item in the Palette @ “Data > Simple Email Deliverer” that you can drag/drop onto your page to get started.

If I recall correctly, you would also need to edit the web.xml of your project to declare that your webapp needs a javamail session, like below:

mail/Session javax.mail.Session
