One of the team left a configuration file open with notepad in a package conf directory and we did a rollback of a deployment to a QA cluster of 3 machines. The package was removed from 2 of the machines but ran into and reported an error from the first machine (permission denied on the open file). We closed notepad and windows explorer and did another rollback which reported success but the file structure was actually restored to the QA environment on the one QA server. Trying rollback again just updated the server again with the package remaining removed from the other 2 QA servers.
How can we remove the package from the server? Or should we just re-deploy with our new version of the package?
