We are on wM 10.15 with IS core fix 11& TNS fix 8, CJP fix 156(Java 11). I learn that any fix above this require Java core fix 354, in other words Java 17.

Quoting SAG’s announcement -

With this, all future fixes on webMethods 10.15 products will require and only work with Java 17 runtime

In order to understand the impact of this,

  1. Will the services developed using the old Java versions continue to work as expected with Java 17? Or do we have apply some kind of compatibility measures ?
  2. Will this require any additional fixes to be installed for each of the wM 10.15 component installed?

Hi Venkat,

all java services compiled with previous java versions should still be working.
But all services developed after CJP Fix 354 or newer was applied and IS restarted, will require the corresponding CJP Fix on all environments.
