problem with dev tools

I just installed the dev tools on windows xp to use with a Linux IS 8 server. Designer works fine but Developer will not start and TNConsole hangs. Launching Developer from console does not produce a log or error message (as best I can tell).

Problem resolved - there was a conflict with javaw.exe. Killing javaw allowed Developer and TN to run properly.
