Possible to delete old log files (*.1L0) ?

We have 20 old log files with dates older than April 2009.

AAC000010000002596.1L0
AAC000010000002597.1L0
etc

Can they just be deleted manually?

Before deleting a log space in the file system, it should be verified that they are not registered anymore.
If there are no subkeys under “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Software AG\Tamino\servers<db>\savepoints<nnnnnnnnnnnn>\log space” representing the log sapace number (in this example 2596, 2597, etc.), the log spaces can be deleted.

I just want to complete my previous post with the remark, that normally log spaces associated to a backup are deleted when the oldest backup is deleted. This is automatically done when using a suitable value for the parameter “number of backup generations”
