Check out the (mainframe) examples Marbod pointed you to, there are no
COBOL examples for Windows, you will have to transform this to the flavor
of COBOL you are running on Windows, the Adabas for Windows documentation
has a description of the call interface as well.
I dont use N1/N2 only in Adabas prompt/workbench ? (without cobol)

I don’t understand your question, the DBA workbench is not related to it at all.
N1/N2 are Adabas commands to store data, these are issued from user programs.
From the documentation

Adabas does not include itself as add records in the archives/database. (You had said this)
Only by natural or N1/N2 C or COBOL programs embedded
The documentation is still too big for my knowledge.
