I attempted to install Tamino on a Windows 2K Sp3 system. The second phase of the installation tries to install the management hub this fails with Error 0x80040705 and an empty description. Later a “1628” pop box appears saying installation has failed to complete. Any hints please???
I believe this is caused by have one or more TAB character in the %windir%\system32\Drivers\etc\services file. You need to replace these tab characters with spaces. One quick way to quickly get around the problem may be to rename the services file, perform the installation and then rename it back afterwards. Hope this helps.
