Do I really need to have a signature for building an iOS app via MD?
I need to run it on the iPhone simulator only, I don’t want to release it .

Hi,
You don’t need a signature to build for the simulator, however you will need a copy of the SDK.
Mobile Designer will then automatically create you an XCode project to load and launch the simulator.
