Installing CIS on a IBM - Websphere Community Edition

Hi,

open up the file (web.xml) within a Hex-Viewer and double check starting/closing bytes of the file.

thnx for the reply - Couldn`'t find any suspect starting/stopping bytes…

I’m using the original, unmodified cis.war…

I’m not sure bout the format of the web.xml file beeing source of the problem - i’m not specialized in deployment descriptors, but i think its part of the problem :

Im Using the IBM SDK 5 (obligatory for Geronimo 1.1) - could that be a reason?

What WebSphere - Version was used for testing the Framework?

I have a similar/related problem.

Trying to deploy CITv23ncu.war in IBM Websphere Application Server (community edition). The “Deploy now” option needs (a) archive file and (b) “Plan” file. I presume “Archive” means war file. Where would I find the Plan (“XML”, I think) file?

I can’t find webapps directory in tomcat which is installed within IBM Websphere App Server. Any leads on how to deploy CIT on IBM-was?
