Import from ODBC function does not open a correct session with remote ADABAS D via ODBC. Tamino Schemagenerator shows a JTree Database.
This problem does not occur for a ADABAS D database on the same machine.
This problem happens only in schema generation process. When a Doctype was already created and defined in Tamino it runs Ok.
My experience is that there is no difference between a connection to a local Adabas D and to a remote one.
I do often forget that user and password are case sensitive and “” is to be used.
