I18N fix for X-Application

X-Application Version: 3.1.1
Tamino Version : 3.1.1
Platform : NT, Win2k, Solaris, …
WebContainer : Tomcat 3.3
JDK Version : 1.3.1

Hello,

attached to this post is a .zip file which contains all files necessary to enable X-Application Generator to process

  • schemas containing non ISO-8859-1 characters as tag names
    and
  • schemas defined in collections having non ISO-8859-1 characters in the collection name.

The schemas used for generation must be defined in Tamino already!
To do this the Schema Editor shipped with Tamino can be used.

See the attached readme file for further information on how to install this patch.

Comments are welcome.

Hello,

this patch is mandatory not only for the generator of X-Application: Once you write Jsp pages using X-Application’s tag library and your documents stored in Tamino have tags with “special characters”, you have to install this patch.

Christian.

Hello,

there is a typo within the readme file of our generator fix.

The meta tag within the Jsp page has to be

<meta http-equiv=“Content-Type”
content=“text/html; charset=UTF-8”/>

When you downloaded the fix, check the XSLT template files of the generator in the directory

%XAPPLICATION_HOME%\template\xsl

Bye,
Christian.

This fix included in X-Application 3.1.2.

Regards, Harald
