How to sync RACF userid/password with CDD

Using RACF to autenticate users, how do I sync the passwords in the cdd?

I understand that I have to define the RACF users in the cdd as well. Or can I have a cdd without userid and passwords since security is done on the mainframe?

Grand Morning,

A password in the CDD is helpful if you are using multiple machines and want to have one common userid/passwd to access these. If your only on one machine, then as you say, why not let RACF do it.
