CONNX uses certificate to authenticate against RACF?

Our shop will be requiring front-end users to use certificate to authenticate against RACF. How can the certificate be passed to CONNX to be eventually sent to RACF since we have CNXNOPREAUTHORIZE=0.

We have been using a RACF userid and password for authenticating against RACF. We will be usiig a PIV card/certificate for authentication soon.

Have you made any headway with your research on using certificate to authenticate against RACF through connx instead of using a userid and password?

Using certificate to authenticate is becoming a required implementation in our shop.
