How to delete the document Types

Hi,

How to delete the document Types in wM8.0?
Not seeing any delete option in TN Console. Kindly help me.

Did you enable deprecated settings and try?

Bascially you need to start using MWS for TN 8.x and utilize its features.

Hi RMG,

Yes its deprecated feature is enabled.
But still I cant delete the documents which I don’t want. Your views please.

Bascially you can’t delete it you should disable the document type that you don’t want to view.

Hi RMG,

Actually I did the same (just disabled).
But having disabled documents there is no use at all, wM should given the provision to delete the entry. If I come across I let you in the same chain…

OK no other options for now…If you still want you may try at your own risk from the TN db tables exploring itself.

Hi Sam,

Use service wm.tn.doctype:delete in WmTN package to delete document types.

You need to pass the typeId to it. You can get the typeId from either the database or running service wm.tn.doctype:list
